Mechanical Engineer x 2 – Data Centre Projects (Milan) Location: Milan, Italy A leading data centre delivery specialist is seeking two experienced Mechanical Engineers to join a major hyperscale development in Milan, Italy. This organisation delivers turnkey data centre solutions across Europe, working on large-scale, technically complex mission-critical projects for global technology clients. With a strong pipeline of live projects and long-term frameworks in place, this role offers excellent career progression within a high-performing engineering environment. As Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the technical delivery of mechanical and HVAC systems, supporting design coordination, installation, commissioning, and project handover. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification. This is a site-based role on a large, fast-paced data centre project.
• Manage client and stakeholder communications
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

Key Responsibilities
• Support design management and technical coordination
• Review tender documentation, plant selection, and material submittals
• Coordinate mechanical services and ensure design integration
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments
• Deliver HVAC installations in line with project quality and safety standards
• Sequence pipework and installations to meet programme milestones
• Support procurement of mechanical equipment and specialist subcontractors
• Assist with installation management through commissioning and handover
• Manage change documentation and support variation processes
• Maintain high standards of site quality, safety, and documentation
Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in an M&E contracting or construction environment
• Design management and coordination experience
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical installation practices
• Commercial awareness and change management capability
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
